Sunset Muskmallow - Abelmoschus Manihot - Sunset Hibiscus

Sunset muskmallow (Abelmoschus Manihot) is a vigorous grower that blooms pretty consistently from mid-summer until frost. The large 6-inch wide bright yellow blooms are a real eye-catcher, and open one after another on hairy stalks, very much like okra. The seed pods also look like okra, but you should be careful of the tiny irritating hairs on the stems and fruit.
