Stonecrop 'Autumn Joy' - Hylotelephium spectabile

This cold-hardy succulent will flourish in the same growing conditions as Hens and Chicks, but this can get taller and has very showy flowers in fall. Pale green leaves emerge from stalks in the spring, and by late summer, it will reward you with bright pink to red flowers that pollinators love. It prefers well draining soil and dry weather, but can handle a little more rain in the summer, and very little water in winter. Take care not to plant it in soggy soil, or it may rot the above and below ground parts of the plant.
