Rudbeckia 'Prairie Sun' - Rudbeckia hirta

A 2003 AAS and FlouroSelect Gold Medal winner, Rudbeckia 'Prairie Sun' is a fantastic addition to a pollinator-friendly garden. Numerous large bright yellow flowers with green centers make this an excellent plant to add cheery color to a garden or flower bed, and long stems make this an excellent choice as a cut flower or bouquet. Prairie Sun is a biennial or short-lived perennial, so these plants will bloom next year if planted now. The flowers make plenty of seeds, so if you want to keep this plant around from year to year, you shouldn't have much trouble.
