Renga Lily - Arthropodium Cirratum

A native of New Zealand, this lily bears white somewhat-tubular flowers on 2-foot stalks. It has low water-needs once established, and is adaptable to a wide variety of soil types. Dry shade is no problem, as it is also adaptable to varying sun conditions. It can be susceptible to slugs or snails, so be vigilant if they are normally a problem. Only cold-hardy down to 15 degrees, this plant cannot handle frozen ground, so be sure to pot it up unless you are in a coastal location or possibly Florida.
