Purple Mullein - Verbascum phoeniceum 'Violetta'

Purple mullein 'Violetta' produces small purple flowers on thin stalks over a long blooming season. Pest and deer-resistant, this tough evergreen perennial thrives in soils that are hot, dry, and less than ideal. This variety is a little shorter than most mullein, topping out 2 to 3-feet tall, which makes it suitable for smaller gardens.
