Pink Muhly Grass - Muhlenbergia capillaris

Pink Muhly Grass is low-maintenance and provides late-season color to a tired garden. In late summer to late fall, this hardy native waves wispy pink seed pods that almost resemble a pink smoky haze above the plants. It's deer/disease/insect resistant, and even prefers a dry spot, so it makes a nice landscaping addition somewhere that is not constantly cared for (I'm talking to you, ugly hillside).                                                                                          -Also called Pink Hair Grass, Gulf Muhly
