Heuchera, or coral bells, is a clump-forming perennial that is a garden All-Star for colored foliage. 'Amethyst Myst' has reddish-purple leaves that really contrast in a green-leaved flower bed or rock garden, or border. Delicate sprays of white-pink flowers bloom in the spring and early summer. It prefers partial shade, is quite cold-tolerant, and is deer and rabbit-resistant. Also called: Alumroot, Oreanthus
