Hellebore Pine Knot Select Strain - Lenten Rose

Hellebores or lenten roses are in a class all their own, as they combine multiple good qualities in a plant that thrives in difficult circumstances. The flower blooms in winter, when many other plants are bare or inactive. It prefers shade and can handle dry shade once established, so planting them under trees is possible. They are also hardy and long-lived. 'Pine Knots Select Strain' flowers produce a mix of yellow, pink, purple, white or combinations of these colors. Individual flower colors can't really be guaranteed, but they can last for months!
