Hardy Gloxinia Pink - Incarvillea delavayi

With pink flowers held on stems up to 2-feet tall, this showy perennial will bloom delicate blossoms during mid-summer. The interesting ferny-looking leaves are also pleasing, and would look right at home in a rock garden, cottage garden, or in a pot.  Hardy to zone 5, this tropical looking plant is not out of reach for those in areas prone to cold winters. It does prefer afternoon shade in the warmer portions of the hardiness zones.
