Geum 'Mrs. Bradshaw' - Avens

Geum 'Mrs. Bradshaw' (Avens) forms a low-growing mound that sends up attractive orange/scarlet semi-double flowers high above the base of the plant, which attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and curious onlookers. Evergreen and hardy in zones 5-8, the foliage is deer resistant and requires little care once established. The flowers also make nice cut flowers. Geum prefers full sun, but will benefit from afternoon shade is hotter climates.
