Feverfew is a medicinal plant that was traditionally used for treatment of fevers, migraines, arthritis, as well as other maladies whose symptoms include inflammation. It's history of usage is long, and it is recorded being used in ancient Greece. It makes a nice addition to a perennial herb garden, with it's small daisy-like flowers and resistance to garden pests. It is winter-hardy in zones 5-10, although it is considered a tender perennial. This means it will have a 3 to 5 year life span, although is does quite well as an annual.
