Fatsia japonica - Japanese Aralia

Large maple-shaped leaves give a tropical appearance to this cold-hardy shrub. Planted in full shade to semi-shade, this plant does best as an understory plant in rich soil that is consistently moist. It can also be treated as a potted plant for colder areas, and will do just fine overwintering as a houseplant.
