This hibiscus will create a nice maroon contrast for your green summer garden. It grows fast and can easily get 5 feet tall in one season, but trimming the branches and buds can keep the height in check. The flowers are pink and bloom during the cooler times of the year. Although frost-tender, it does grow fairly well when planted in a pot and can be moved to a warmer spot in locations that get freezing weather.
