This spreading ground cover has flowers that are made into an herbal tea, and some people even use this as an alternative to grass in their lawns, although I'm not sure how it would hold up to foot traffic! Pretty hardy once established, this plant is perennial to zone 5, and has few pests, although slugs may take a nibble.
