Cape Fuchsia - Phygelius capensis

An Award of Garden Merit recipient from the Royal Horticultural Society, Cape Fuchsia blooms in clusters of tubular reddish-orange flowers that are a favorite of hummingbirds. Shiny green foliage contrasts well with the bright flowers, and the plant will continue to bloom over the whole summer season. Not a true fuchsia, this plant is actually part of the figwort family. It is cold-hardy to zone 7 as an herbaceous perennial and as an evergreen in warmer climates.
