Bougainvillea 'Barbara Karst' - pink

Bougainvillea 'Barbara Karst' is a splash of hot pink for a hot garden. It is well-adapted to survive dry environments once established, and prefers full sun, although it will tolerate partial sun. Blooming period varies with the climate you're in, but it is capable of blooming most any time of year that it's warm enough. Bougainvillea is perennial for only zones 9+, so if you plant this in a pot north of zone 9, you should move it indoors during winter. Be mindful when you move it though, because it does have thorns.
