Blue-gray leaf blades are what sets this drought-tolerant ornamental apart from most other grasses. Producing a large tuft of grassy needle-like leaves, it works well in a rock garden, or in bunches for a nice effect. It also prefers a cooler climate than many grasses, thriving in zones 4 - 9, so locations with extremely hot and humid summers may struggle to keep this plant happy. When mature, it benefits from trimming the older foliage, and dividing the main clump into smaller clumps.
Spread: 12"x12"
Cold hardiness: zone 4-9
Light requirements: full sun to medium sun
Water requirements: medium to low
2.5" pot
